Smithsonian Hiring for Beer Historian Position

Attention dreamers! The coolest job this side of owning your own microbrewery has just been announced. The world-famous Smithsonian in Washington D.C. has just announced they are taking applications for the newly created Beer Historian postion. According to the museum, the ideal candidate will work closely with staff to develop collections on the burgeoning craft beer movement and must be interested in "research, documentation and collecting American brewing history."

The position will be a part of the Museum of American History and with a starting salary of nearly $65k a year including a comprehensive benefits package, there's sure to be plenty of competition. The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in American business, food, culture or a similar history specialization.
